3Pol: Powering Pakistan’s energy future with energy-efficient products

3POL (Private) Limited, an affiliated company of Rapidev (Private) Limited, is driving the transition toward locally produced, energy-efficient technology in Pakistan. With a focus on manufacturing AC/DC ceiling fans, fan kits, UPS units and solar inverters, the company is tackling the country’s growing energy demands through affordable and sustainable solutions.

Targeting both rural and urban households, electronics manufacturers and corporate clients, 3POL aims to reduce reliance on costly imports while generating employment and improving quality control. “Pakistan has a large energy gap,” explains Wajid Gulistan, Group CEO of Rapidev Group. “We are trying to address that gap by providing energy-efficient appliances to the local industry.”

Support from PFAN/PPSE played a critical role in helping 3Pol reach the investment stage. “The good thing with PFAN is they connected us with a lot of industry players and provided us a very good networking platform,” says Gulistan. Through PFAN’s coaching and advisory support, 3Pol refined its investor pitch and was introduced to financial institutions and key stakeholders. “One of the investors got engaged and we got the funding—that was very good. It was because of PFAN’s guidance and pitch preparation.”

Gulistan sees PFAN’s support as vital for the broader innovation landscape in Pakistan. “There is no real motivation among the industry,” he notes. “Programmes like PFAN accelerate local industry startups to provide very good and comprehensive solutions to the problems we are facing right now.” He adds that having continued support beyond the startup stage—such as at the scaling phase—would offer even greater value to local companies addressing energy and climate challenges.

With a strong foundation now in place, 3POL is poised to expand its impact, offering clean energy technologies that are not only effective and affordable but also proudly made in Pakistan.
